Darlin Dan and I visited Walgreens this afternoon after looking at the house our daughter Jessica is buying. This deal went better than I expected! I paid $ .44 cash OOP!! I had a moment when the cashier wanted to scan the in ad Qs first. He said he HAD to and I thought my deal was going to go bad-but NOT!
Here's how it went
1 Colgate toothpaste $3.99
2 bic highlighters $2.99 (w/in ad Q $ .49)
1 5 lb bag gold medal flour $2.79 ($1.50 w/in ad Q)
1 dark reeses peanut butter cup $.89 ($ .49 w/in ad Q)
2 reeses eggs on sale $ .39 each (my fillers)
=$14.43
-in ad Qs of $5.00 for highlighters, $1.29 for the flour, $ .40 for the dark reeses.
-manufact. Qs of $.75 for flour, $1 for the 2 highlighters, $1 for the toothpaste, $ .55 for the dark reeses
- $2RR and $2RR
so I paid $ .44 OOP and got back a $4RR for the colgate!
