HEB rebate deal

HEB has a rebate deal called "Early Detection Saves lives-buy $35 of P&G products in 1 transaction and receive a FREE $10 Visa prepaid card by mail"

I shopped at Walgreens, CVS and HEB today. I was anxious to get my rebate shopping done and I knew that I was going to spend alot of time in HEB figuring out my $35 purchase with the lowest OOP possible.

So, I went to HEB today, and bought my products for the rebate. I wish I had some of the $3 gain coupons, but I rushed out and used them all thinking that I wouldn't be able to find any Gain dryer sheets anywhere!(joke is on me-they are still everywhere)


I spent $11.98 cash OOP for my $36.82 in PG products-I should've bought 1 less Vicks cough drops-1 of my $1 coupons wouldn't scan and I was over $35. Oh well.

I bought a pro glide razor -$8.97-$4 man. Q

Super T time! Spent $27 cash OOP and saved $110! I was sooo happy to find the Purex 3 in 1 on clearance for $4.24! I had ordered the $3 Q from last Sunday's inserts and by the time they arrived, it seemed like every Walgreens and CVS was wiped out. The Crunchy Nut Cereal was $0.99 after Target Q and Man. Q and it has a rebate on the back!

I decided to do the Weight Watchers Smart Ones deal, but wasn't able to get the free freezer bag-sold out.

HEB deal

HEB has the bun length-16 oz. pack of bar s franks for $1 this week. We can use the $1/2 coupon from 1/30RP and get $ .50 a pack hot dogs. This isn't free, but the best price I've found so far. We actually enjoy weiners in various dishes from breakfast to supper. I am now planning a weiner night in our weekly menu!

Darlin Dan also loves bologna-(yuck). This coupon is also good for bologna. The cheapest I've found a 16 oz. pack of Bar S bologna is at Walmart for $1.06. He never minds having a bologna and cheese sandwich for supper. So now we'll also have a sandwich night! Since I can't stomache bologna, I'll have grilled cheese (yum!).

Saturday Night Excursion 2/5/11

Darlin Dan took me to Walgreens & CVS this evening. I had some Dove deodorant coupons to use and I wanted to see if any deals were working for tomorrow. At Walgreens, I spent $0.47 cash OOP and got my 4 Dove Deodorants, 1 Blink, 2 Hershey's drops,1 Lysol no touch, 1 squeegi, and 3 clearance Sunlight dishwashing liquids. Snow/Ice Day in San Antonio

This is unusual for San Antonio! We are stuck (oh man! ; } ) The conditions were perfect last night for the ice/snow to stick and reek havoc on San Antonio. The streets are iced up and us natives do not know how to drive in this mess. We get a day off!! Happy 3 day weekend. The sun is out at 9 in the morning and it is an icy 26 degrees.
