Using the $3/15 coupon to buy moneymaker Sinex!

This coupon was still spitting out today when you buy something without using RRs.  I decided to get back my RRs that I burned yesterday on my newspapers.  I first bought a chocolate bar for .50 and my $3/15 coupon spit out. Then I bought 2 sinex, 1 salonpas 5ct, 1 box of puffs tissues and another chocolate bar. I used my $3/15 Q first, then my $4 sinex coupons and then the coupon for the free puffs. I paid with $5 in RRs and change and got back a $5RR for the sinex and a $6RR for the salonpas!! I just made $6 in RRs! I did this 2 times today, so I got back $12 in RRs back from the $13.50 I burned yesterday. I have 8 more of the sinex coupons that are expiring tomorrow. Can you guess what I'll be doing tomorrow? I'm just hoping that the $3/15 coupon is still popping out tomorrow.

Here's my story-
I now order my inserts online and save alot of money doing it. I order for the month and my supplier did not include this weeks insert in our monthly order because her region did not get the P&G insert. I decided to just burn some of my RRs from Wags black friday rampage. I looked over Slickdeals before I left for some Sunday shopping and a poster commented that this nifty coupon was spitting out-but only if you paid for something with cash-no RRs. They had bought the Salonpas that is only $.89 (w/in ad Q) ) and got the coupon. So I tried it and it worked. I did this 2 times and ended up with 9 newspapers and 2 of the  Salonpas that are $5.99 and get back $6 RR, 2 command hangers and 3 eclipse gums. After all was said and done, I spent $13.50 in RRs for my $18 in newspapers!

I decided to run to Super T. (I don't know if I'll brave another Black Friday at Target.) I was so happy to grab 4 games for Christmas presents! I spent $14 on a rebate GC for all of this after all my Qs and got a $5 GC for the 5 glade holiday scent items. The mailer that I received last week with Super T qs and a $5 off $50 grocery purchase coupon really helped.

I made some tortillas for Darlin Dan!

They are not real pretty, but goodness they made some tasty egg and country sausage tacos! I found an easy recipe for flour tortillas today and decided to give it the old college try. Made Darlin Dan a happy man.

Shopping with Darlin Dan on Friday Night at Super T

Darlin Dan and I went out Friday evening. First, we grabbed a burger and then we made a pit stop at Super T. I wanted to see if this Super T (not my fav.) had the Olay deal and the  $1.99 a lb.roasts. We were in luck and I decided to get my shop on. (I posted a picture on Friday.) What I forgot to mention was what Darlin Dan observed while I was checking out. We all know how frustrating it can be at checkout when you have "many" coupons and the registers are asking for verification of each and every item. Well, I guess I ticked off more than a couple of customers behind me in line. I was oblivious to this. I'm always watching the register, trying to make sure everything goes as planned. Darlin Dan was chuckling as we were leaving. As I was triple checking my receipt, I asked him what was so funny. He said, "My Darlin' made some shoppers leave in a huff". I looked at him and of course said, "What?"  "Well," he said, "One lady just pushed her buggy to the side and walked out of the store without buying anything, and another one put all her items back in her cart and went to another register. Then another customer decided to go to another register." Oops! All I can say is, if Target could get their registers to behave, everybody could have a pleasant and quick shopping experience. I had all my coupons ready to go, manufacturer Qs first, Target Qs second, gift cards third.

I decided I should try to grab those cute children's power Oral B toothbrushes that end up free after a $3P&G(10/31) Q and a $2EB back L2.  I got my hands on a couple more of the $5Q(10/31P&G)-wyb secret and olay BW, so I did the Olay BW deal- buy 1 at $7 and get a $3EB back-the secret deod. was the $1 size-so all of this was free- no cash OOP. I paid with a total of $7 in EBs and got back a $4EB for the 2 toothbrushes, and $3EB for the BW and a $1EB for my green tag!!

Friday Shopping Rampage

My total cash OOP for today's shopping rampage ...$2.86 for  about  a combined total of $250 worth of goodies (from Dollar General, Walgreens and Super T).
I spent a total of $45 on gift cards at Target and will be getting $20 rebate back.

Buying the deals at Dollar General

I used my $1/3 libby's coupons today at Dollar General-I only had 3...;{... and I had to do them separate-the register only reads 1 coupon(I completely forgot that I read somewhere to give them a coupon to scan after every 3 cans). It's okay. I just used the same coupons over at each transaction-$1 Frank's hot sauce DG price $1, $1/2 meox mix cat food DG price $0.55ea. , $1 Gain dish detergent DG price $1, $0.75 tic tac DG price $0.65, $0.55 Martha White muffin mix DG price $1ea, $0.75 Cream of Wheat DG price $1 (this had to be manually taken off-very nice manager!)  and a couple of $5 off olay wyb secret-(this was sweet - I had 2 extra Qs from my Walgreen's deal and thought I would try this at DG-the small Olay BW was on sale for $2 and they have 2 packs of secret deodorant for $2.50-this ended up to be a $0.50MM!)

I spent $0.97 cash OOP today  at Walgreens for $53.68 worth of great deals! I used $18 in RRs and got back $17 in RRs. Not too shabby. 

Sunday at Walgreens10/31

My Sunday at Walgreens! 
I grabbed a couple of bottles of Head & Shoulders w/ the Q that was expiring 10/31.
I was able to do 1 of the $10rr wyb$30 of P&G products (secret/olay)deal with the coupons from 3 sunday papers. I've been waiting for my inserts to come in the mail and they arrived today! I plan to do some more damage at Walgreens with the $5/2 wyb secret deod. and olay bodywash coupon. That coupon makes this deal pretty sweet.
I still have some sinex coupons and plan to grab another couple of those mm deals.
