Lazy Sunday

We decided to be lazy today. Although I am armed and ready with my coupons, I am not shopping today. I'll shop with a vengeance tomorrow. Yesterday, I did some intense shopping at HEB and  Darlin Dan drove me to a couple of Walgreens where we found several cheap Loreal lipglosses.(15)
Today, instead of shopping, we've had a nice and quiet day at home.We woke up very early and enjoyed coffee and the Sunday paper. We've watched a couple of movies, played some games on the Wii, and napped in the middle of the day.  I even made a pot of pinto beans and some potato salad for dinner!

I really didn't plan on going to HEB today.          I grabbed some Dial bodywash and Dial bar soap and while I was there, I noticed that there is a new yellow coupon for Olay Regenerist facial products-Buy olay regenerist product and get Secret deodorant free. At first, I was just going to grab that and then it dawned on me (little bright light bulb over my head) that there is a manufacturer's coupon for buy 2 Secret deodorants and get a Secret bodyspray free. HEB shopping

I've been shopping alot at HEB these last 2 weeks. They had an awesome Proctor and Gamble deal going on that I could not resist. Today was the last day and I need to use up some coupons so I decided to have a  crazy coupon day! I worked half a day and shopped at 4 HEBs the rest of the day. Darlin Dan joined me for my last 2 P&G transactions this evening and it went well. I was so happy that these 2 transactions were effortless because the other 7 transactions were not so easy. My day was full of refunds and re ringing up and manager intervention. However, my dining room table is full of P&G and BTFE products and I still have some change left over from the $20 bill I started with.  So now I'm sitting in my PJs watching TV, trying to figure out my BTFE(Boxtops for Education) strategy. I've got alot of $10 cats to roll and I want to use them wisely on the BTFE deal and cheap beef!

Today I went to HEB and spent $0.47 cash OOP and used HEB coupons, manufact. coupons and a $10 coupon I  received after doing a Proctor and Gamble catalina deal. I bought  4 frozen pizzas, 1 go gurt, 4 boxes of fruit rollups, 1 can of progresso soup, 1 can of Red Gold diced tomatoes and chiles, a small package of fiesta oregano, and a package of ground beef. Total before coupons $21.31. Plus I received a $5 catalina coupon for my next shopping trip!!
This week HEB is offering 2 different catalina deals:
 One is the Proctor and Gamble Deal-buy $30 of PG products and get back a $10 catalina or buy $40 of PG products and get back a $15 catalina.
 The second is Boxtops for Education deal-buy 10 products on the boxtops list and get a $5 catalina back.
With my purchase today, I used a $10 catalina coupon I got back from an earlier PG transaction and got back my $5 catalina to use as I want.
